Homework for Classroom Assignments
12/6/18 - Students may choose to take home assignments that were not completed during class time as homework, rather than receive a grade based off of incomplete work. Students are always given class time to complete assignments, but sometimes assignments are not completed within this time due to various reasons or circumstances. I am available to support students in completing work any morning from 8:15-8:30 if additional support is needed. Attached below are links to two assignments that several students this week chose to take home:
1st grade set design
3rd grade myth and legend reflection (page 1) AND 3rd grade myth and legend reference article for support.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected] with any questions or concerns regarding homework.

Showcase Updates
11/28/17 - Second, third, fourth, and fifth graders are all working on their showcases!
If you are a fifth grade parent, be sure to ask your child how they are doing with their lines. Ask them how they are feeling about the upcoming showcase and what you can do to help them prepare.
If you are a fourth grade parent, ask your child what team they are working on (set, costume, script writing/acting), and if they have completed their assignment due the specials week of December 6. All set and costume designers must have two complete designs that have been peer assessed. Look for these formative grades in Gradebook.
Second and third grade parents, ask your child what story they are working on. Maybe they will even act it out for you! Each class is narrowing down their script or topic choices for their upcoming showcases. Ask your child what topic their showcase is focused on and which script they are most excited about.
